Week 52

This week I've returned Icom receiver to the it's owner Hannu Perttula Mr. HPE. Thanks Monsieur. So we calculated with empirically that I've used it around 3 years.. In his QTH we tried to DX a bit without any special results.

For the new year I'll punish again my old dear lad ATS-909. Also I'll use the CD-cassette recorder AZ 1518 made by Philips which is pretty excellent receiver. I have heard with it Vietnam 1242, Taiwan 1557, China 1377, Afghanistan 1296, India 1566 and Thailand 1575 on the medium wave band with it's own ferritic ANT. Unfortunately only MW and LW are included. (Of course FM too). That's it, Good DX folks and Happy Year 2008!

Welcome

Welcome to GloboDX -blog. I have opened this one for 2 reasons: after a break of several months I'm again interested in shortwave and mediumwave DXing. The another is that the coming year 2008 will be my 10th year having this great hobby.
